Miss W contacted me a couple of years ago to take pictures for her fiancé before the big day. The big day came and she said she wasn't ready. She rescheduled a few months after her wedding and called right before her session again to reschedule. The third time she called I told her "I'm not letting you reschedule this time!" because I knew it was just nerves...we laughed about it and she finally set a firm date! The day came and she showed up like a little balls of nerves. She was getting her hair and make-up done and kept asking "are you sure I'm going to look ok?" ha ha ha. The session went amazing and she was now so excited to her images.
Before she left I threw her a curve ball, knowing she had given me permission to use her images, I told her I was going to post a photo before she even saw them and told her to trust me :) She did and this was the image I posted. She LOVED it and couldn't believe that was her ;)
Needless to say, she still tells me it was the best thing she had ever done for herself and her new hubby! :)

There is never a bad day to celebrate our moms. My gorgeous mom should be celebrated 100 times a day! My mom is THE most incredible and SELFLESS woman I know! She raised me and my 2 siblings to love God and love life. To always believe in ourselves and always put others before us. She doesn't have much but she would never complain. Whatever money she has, she spends it on everyone else. I love her and hope to be half the mom and woman she is.
Happy Mother's Day to all the beautiful moms!!

Hey Bombshells:
What a great way to give back. Bring one or as many gently used handbags you no longer use to donate at your boudoir session. These handbags will be given to children in shelters to give to their mom for Mother's Day! What an amazing idea! :) Don't stop at your closet, grab a few more from your girlfriends, neighbors, sisters or mom.
If you are not schedule to shoot with me between now and April and would still like to donate (thank you!) please feel free to drop off the handbag at my studio. If possible, try to schedule with me, I'd like to take a picture of each of you with your donated bag :)

Most families seeking shelter from abuse arrive with nothing more than the clothes on their back. Victims are lucky if they escape with a driver’s license, let alone any of the conveniences most people rely on in their day to day lives. Realizing this, Texas Advocacy Project founded the Hope Campaign as a means to provide basic necessities many people leave behind when fleeing violence, while also informing victims about our free legal services available to help them get safe.
Each spring the Project partners with Travis County Sheriff’s Office to collect new or gently used handbag donations from the community. Each purse is carefully cleaned and outfitted with agency brochures and a discreet H4H hotline purse label. The processed bags are delivered to shelters across the state in time for Mother’s Day so that resident children may select a special gift for their moms.

If he was unaware what he wanted in the bedroom, I'm thinking he has an idea now ;) Miss D brought her honey's shirt and tie...but wanted to use it another way. After we giggled like schoolgirls ;) we found many ways to use that tie! Let's just say, he won't be able to concentrate at work if he wears that tie again!

2012 was an amazing year and I'm excited about what 2013 will bring :)
I love changing things up so Studio A got a huge makeover; new colors, new bed, new trim, new lighting and a few new accessories (I can't take all the credit ;) thanks for all your help babe!). :) It's so romantic and sexy and I'm excited to see all the gorgeous images we will get in there.
